Pickaway HELPS Announces Scholarship for First Generation College Students

Pickaway HELPS is pleased to announce the Pickaway HELPS/Ula Jean Ater Metzler scholarship, specifically for first-generation college students. One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at each of the four county high schools. The organization’s mission is to make education beyond high school possible for all students in Pickaway County and the scholarship was created in honor of Metzler, the founder of Pickaway HELPS.  Scholarship guidlines and application are available in the guidance office at each county high school.

Anyone wishing to donate to the scholarship fund may do so through the Pickaway County Community Foundation by designating the donation for Pickaway HELPS/Ula Jean Ater Metzler Scholarship.
