Pickaway HELPS Announces Scholarship

for First Generation College Students

Pickaway HELPS is pleased to announce the Pickaway HELPS/Ula Jean Ater Metzler scholarship, specifically for first-generation college students.  One scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at each of the four county high schools who will be the first in their immediate family to complete a post-secondary credential or degree. Pickaway HELPS’ mission is to make education beyond high school possible for all students in Pickaway County and the scholarship was created in honor of Metzler, the founder of the organization. Applications are available in the guidance office of each high school and are due by February 26th.

Anyone wishing to donate to the scholarship fund may do so through the Pickaway County Community Foundation by designating the donation for Pickaway HELPS/Ula Jean Ater Metzler Scholarship.
